Announcing Matching Fund Grant Recipients!

SVP Portland teamed up with the Black United Fund of Oregon (BUF-OR) to leverage our investments in two Community Partners through the launch of an Equitable Early Education Grant initiative. This new collaboration with another funder, where BUF-OR provides matching funds to amplify SVP's, demonstrates that when philanthropy works together, we can have an even greater community impact.

We're excited to announce the grant recipients: Learning Train Academy and Threads of Justice Collective

"With an emphasis on social-emotional learning, Spanish immersion, and a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum, we aim to honor and nourish each child's multiple intelligences so that they can flourish in our ever-evolving world." – Ashley Rollins, Learning Train Academy

"Our vision is for justice and inclusion to be the core of all early childhood education practices, policies, and programs." – Grace Bounds, Threads of Justice Collective

We are honored to partner with the Black United Fund of Oregon to advance equitable access to quality early learning by supporting these two organizations increasing opportunities for BIPOC children in Oregon.
