Our Mission
Social Venture Partners are inspired citizens united to achieve lasting community impact in greater Portland. To do so, we form a community of engaged philanthropists and build capacity in our community to address root-cause problems.
We envision a healthy, strong and hopeful society in which businesses, social organizations and government entities recognize their common needs and support each’s unique contributions. In our community giving, we seek to be catalysts for effective, enduring investment in the well being of children, youth and families in greater Portland, by addressing:
- Economic, social, health and environmental risk factors
- Early learning, development and education of children and youth
